Arguably the merely banding in history to lineament selfsame twins for a speech rhythm section, Blessed Death were New Jersey thrashers featuring vocalizer Larry Portelli, guitarists Jeff Anderson and Nick Fiorentino, bassist Kevin Powelson, and drummer Chris Powelson. Formed in 1984, exactly as the stop number metal social movement was on the up, Blessed Death issued deuce hyper-technical but unwell produced albums: 1985's Vote out or Be Killed and 1987's sadly prophetic Destined for Extinction -- after which general consumer unconcern quietly drove them into retreat.
